Our take
The S5 is a step up from the S2 with four decks and more effects. I appreciate the pitch shifting and roll features, which add creativity to mixes. The included flight case is a nice bonus for transport. However, with only one phono input, you can't connect multiple turntables. The build is solid, and the 16 pads are responsive. For $350, it's a good deal for a quad deck controller, but the limited inputs may restrict advanced setups.
